they tell me this dance, dipicts the colonial spanish, big nose has to do with them allways lieing to the people here. kind of a Ponocio thing.

the local fiesta of the virgin of natividad in Huallabamba, I got hooked to help out by a good friend that has a mountain bike company. I put up the firework display.

at night, the castel was lit up, with 5 or 6 different stages of twerling sprays of sparks. the kids had a great time.

the castel of fire is a high point for the towns fiesta. it was lit early at 7:30pm so the kids could see it.

unlike a pritechnical show, this construction is made of bamboo, and all the spinning twerling shower of sparks were made by a local man called Cojertero.
